LONDON, ENGLAND, October 08, 2011 /Travel PR News/ -- Olympia 2 Exhibition Centre will play host to a Caribbean carnival later this month as the popular Rumfest returns for its fifth year on October 15th-16th.
Founder Ian Burrell, a Global Rum Ambassador, has described the event as "Probably the greatest rum festival and selection of rum...under one roof," and with over 400 rums to try it is difficult to argue.
The best rums will be honoured by the prestigious Golden Rum Barrel Awards, with categories including Best Master Rum Blender, International Rum Ambassador of the Year and the fantastic Rum Experience Pioneer Award for Outstanding Rum Achievement.
As well as sampling the rums, visitors can also watch live cocktail demonstrations from professional mixologists and taste the results, enjoy live music with a Caribbean theme and enter a competition to win a fabulous Caribbean holiday and a visit to a rum distillery.
A new feature this year will be the Tropical Food Area, where revellers can line their stomachs in between drinks. Tickets cost GBP22.
