Kazakhstan presents it's potential in the World Travel Market 2011

ASTANA, KAZAKHSTAN, November 10, 2011 /Travel PR News/ -- Kazakhstan presents it's potential in the World Travel Market 2011 exhibition (WTM), which takes place in London from 7 to 11 November 2011.

World Travel Market is on of the leading global events in the travel industry. Kazakhstan's participation in WTM since 2000 helps strengthen the positive image of the country, establish direct business contacts and support the high level of competitiveness in the industry.

This year German designer Peter Werle has been invited by the Ministry of Tourism and Sports of the Republic of Kazakhstan to design the exhibition stand in the national style.

A competition for the best web blog dedicated to the Great Silk Road is being organized within the WTM 2011 in cooperation with the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO). According to organizers, these initiatives contribute to the promotion of the unique tourism potential of the Silk Road and attract the attention of travelers to countries located on this ancient transcontinental highway.

Kazakhstan is actively working to develop tourism opportunities of the Silk Road. Thus, in the consistency with the historic route an international transit corridor "Western Europe - Western China" is being built. The volume of Kazakhstani investment is U.S. $ 6 billion that will be used to reconstruct the Kazakh section of the corridor, as well as the development of road infrastructure.
